The FRIEDA & FREDDIES brand gets its name from two nightclubs whose brand image was personified by two small chihuahuas named "Frieda & Freddies."
These two clubs, one located in Miami, Florida, and the other in New York, had their heyday in the 1970s, especially thanks to the famous TV series MIAMI VICE, with several scenes taking place in the two nightclubs.
Thus, a collection of clothing was born, featuring vibrant colors and inspired by scenes from the American TV series.
FRIEDA & FREDDIES quickly gained popularity among Hollywood stars like Jackie O, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, and the cast of MIAMI VICE.
